I’m often asked how I got into art. I usually answer in the same way—someone lied to me. An odd response but hear me out.

As a kid I drew the same stick figures, those prehistoric cave markings, that all kids draw; nothing to set mine apart. Until at some point I was convinced by the lies that I was, “good at art”. And, well, I believed them. From there on it became my ‘thing’.

Over the years I got better and fell in love for the creation process. I do art because I love it! I share my art because I hope you like it as well. Or maybe I’m just chasing the feeling of that first complement (the lie). It’s hard to know.
